Revered in Japanese tradition, flowers of the water-loving Japanese Iris are so impossibly large and flamboyant they must be seen to be believed. Kimboshi is a hybrid between I.ensata and I.pseudacorus. It has pale yellow flowers with a darker veined eye-zone presented on stems to 60cm. Choose a sunny position in a moist or boggy area. Ideally beside a pond or in a shallow water bath.
