Known formally as Dipadax triquerta and then Onixotis stricta this rather confused gem is now known as Wurmbea stricta.  It has pale pink blooms with a deep cherry-red centre, which resemble Cherry blossom, are produced in a spike up to 10cm, on stems to 50cm. A truly delightful addition to the edge of a pond or alternatively in garden borders.  A favorite here at Sylvan Vale!!
