This wonderful candelabra Primula from the moist habitats of China is often referred to as the 'Mealy Primrose'. The long powdery stems are a striking contrast to the 'port wine' flowers making this Primula a spectacular feature in a boggy area. Stems to 60cm plus. There is also a subtle but lovely perfume that only adds to the allure. I apologise that my photo does not do this gem justice. It is often hard to remember when enjoying something that I should be taking photos instead!
