(Syn Scilla ligulata) This cute autumn flowering gem from the western Mediterranean has a rosette of short strap-like leaves that hug the ground from which rise slender stems of soft, starry flowers in shades of pale blue to lilac. Stems to 10cm. We find them best in morning sun and afternoon shade.
