These showy produce upright stems 15–30 cm tall with pleated, slightly hairy, sword-shaped leaves. The funnel-shaped flowers are carried on short spikes, in intense shades of blue, violet & purple often with contrasting markings. Flowering late spring to early summer. Dry Summer rest.
