The famous 'Dead Horse Arum' to which Sir David Attenborough commented "fantastically described"!! It is a rare Aroid from the Mediterranean with dissected foliage and large open ‘fleshy’ spathes heavily mottled on the reverse and emerging stems, with a long hairy spadix. The inflorescence can reach 60cm long and 40cm wide. Very attractive to flies as the common name indicates! Not for under the kitchen window, but a showstopper none the less. Tubers are not yest flowering size, but worth the wait.
Maybe harmful if ingested
