A small autumn-flowering Colchicum producing delicate, goblet-shaped flowers in soft lilac to pale pink. Less robust than larger Colchicums, we value it greatly for its graceful proportions and subtle colour. The tubers are 'soboliferous', meaning they spread sideways forming a clump over time. Best in rock gardens, alpine bed or containers where it can be drooled over up close.
