This lovely and hardy japonica hybrid produces many 4cm frilled ice-blue blooms with the falls heavily marked yellowish-brown and haloed by distinctive lavender marks on stems up to 1 metre.

This Iris from Britain and Western Europe with glossy foliage and dull blooms that are followed by large seed pods which open during late autumn revealing their spectacular red berries. These can be picked and dried for floral arrangements.
